Commercialisation of Internet crimes
A security firm Symantec reveled the increasing commercialization of Internet crime. Trading of sites where bank details and credit cards are on sale. There are commercial softwares used to launch attack on web sites which is openly sold, bought and used by the criminals.
The latest report suggests such attacks are now part of a multi-billion dollar criminal industry. In recent days sellers on one of these sites were offering everything from 100million email addresses to bank logins and credit card details.
These reports have again put a big question mark on the safety of Internet usage.
